"wonder"ful self-image

I went to an event the other night with my husband, bought some new clothes, total girly shoes, I thought I looked amazing.  My husband thought I looked amazing.  I was totally Wonder Woman.

 

And then I saw pictures from the night and I felt much more like this:

I'm not sure which one I truly resembled more to those around me.  I know it was somewhere in-between the two, but it just goes to show that self-image sure is a bitch.

Side-note...Googling images of "fat Wonder Woman" comes up with many more selections than I could have imagined.  There are some sick puppies out there.
